We're looking for a Assistant Analyst to join our Business Intelligence team. In this role, you'll contribute directly to the mission of improving population health outcomes, tackling inequalities, and enhancing productivity within the NHS Integrated Care System (ICS). As an analyst, you’ll use your expertise in data analytics to provide crucial insights that inform decision-making, identify trends, and help the NHS optimise its services. You'll work with a variety of data sets and tools such as SQL and Power BI, collaborating with stakeholders across the health and care system.
In this Assistant Analyst role, you'll be responsible for analysing large and complex health and care datasets to generate insights that directly inform decision-making and improve healthcare services. You'll utilise tools such as Power BI and SQL to create dynamic dashboards and reports, supporting key performance tracking and operational analysis. Working closely with various stakeholders, both internal and external, you'll ensure that data is accurately collected, validated, and used effectively across the organisation and system.
In addition to generating reports and visualisations, you'll play a crucial role in monitoring and enhancing data quality, identifying trends, and forecasting future needs within the healthcare system. Your work will help drive improvements in service delivery and support the development of efficient, data-driven strategies.
We are seeking a candidate with strong analytical and problem-solving skills, proficiency in data tools like SQL and Power BI, and the ability to manage large datasets with a keen eye for detail. Excellent communication skills are essential, as you will need to present complex information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences. The ideal candidate will also be a collaborative team player who can work effectively across departments and handle multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
