Desirable Qualifications:

Certification(s) Preferred: CISM, CISSP, etc…..

Preferred Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Hands-on experience of incident management, with the ability to investigate, track, manage and remediate incidents.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to comprehend business terms.
  • Able to escalate incidents effectively to leadership in a timely manner.
  • Ability to build and maintain strong relationships with stakeholders of varying grades from around the business (Legal, Human Capital, Compliance, Data Protection, Risk Management).
  • Excellent writing and documentation skills, specifically writing incident reports or PowerPoint presentations documenting how the incident has been remediated.
  • Experience in a cybersecurity-related role, ideally with an understanding of compliance, Data Protection issues, Risk Management, and security best practices.
  • Detail oriented, ensuring the details of an incident are regularly updated and are worked to thorough completion.
  • Able to work in a fast paced environment juggling multiple tasks and priorities

Desirable Knowledge/Skills:

Demonstrates intimate abilities and/or a proven record of success in the following areas:

  • Experience using an IT ticketing system such as ServiceNow.
  • Experience handling live data incidents which require timely remediation and closure.
  • Knowledge of GDPR (Data Protection Act) which outlines Personal Data rules and regulations.
  • Knowledge of how to handle sensitive client and firm data.
  • Ability to confidently speak to senior management in a professional manner under high stress scenarios.
