Role overview: Statisticians play significant role at GCE and you will contribute to all technical statistical activities for at least 1 study. Project leading also means regular communication with internal and external teams on all the statistical elements and on various studies. A crucial aspect is of a Statistician is protocol design, writing analysis plans, design CRFs, review statistical datasets and attend functional meetings

Responsibilities & Requirements:

  • Work on the protocol design with clinical scientists
  • Write statistical analysis plans
  • Help design case report forms to ensure all data points are collected for the tables, figures, and listings and other protocol-specific objectives are met
  • Review and approve analysis dataset specifications
  • Produce analysis specified in statistical analysis plan and ad-hoc analysis as requested
  • Develop study analysis plans as a team member and lead this effort for selected studies
  • Develop statistical programs as necessary to perform analyses and prepare data displays
  • Keep abreast of new developments in statistics, drug development, and regulatory guidance through literature review and attendance at workshops and professional meetings

Qualifications:

  • MSc or PhD in Medical Statistics 4+ years
  • Statistician experience within pharmaceutical or CRO environment.
  • Leading on a single project and contributing to the project team.
  • Have written Statistical Analysis Plans Focus on communication, quality, timelines and highly technical.
