The AAM group globally employs 17 professionals in London, New York, Switzerland, Hong Kong and BVI.

Main Duties & Responsibilities

  • Using advances risk and portfolio analytics to create portfolios that reflect clients’ specific constraints and objective.
  • Responsible for supporting the firm’s research effort in analyzing suitable hedge fund investments (through variety of statistical and quantitative analysis on existing and prospective investments).
  • Applying sophisticated principles in the fields of statistics, (e.g., clustering, multi-level modeling, logistic regression) to establish risk of hedge fund investments.
  • Analyze quantitative data/research and communicate recommendations on future trends.Preparing monthly commentaries and data on hedge funds for use in monthly reports.
  • Maintain and expand the group’s proprietary analytical and risk management tools and systems.
  • Assist the quant team in building out further, debugging and maintaining the proprietary analytical and client portals.

Who we're looking for (qualifications, experience and skills)

  • Master degree from top tier university ideally majoring in a finance, economics, computer science or statistical related field.
  • 2+ years experience in quantitative analysis in the capital markets or financial services industry.
  • Experience in financial analysis and modeling.
  • Strong practical computing skills in object oriented languages.
  • Demonstrated experience working with, analyzing and drawing conclusions from large datasets.
  • Deep understanding of data collection/scraping and analysis techniques.
  • Excellent knowledge of Python, Pandas, Numpy, Scipy, Statsmodels, etc.
  • Proficiency in statistical analysis.
  • Proficiency in SQL. Experience with MS SQL is a benefit.
  • Proficiency in Python/Django. Knowledge of Flask is a benefit.
  • Proficiency in JavaScript. Experience with frameworks (ReactJS, Angular, etc) is a benefit
  • Knowledge of Webfolio is a plus.
  • Working towards CFA qualification is a benefit.
  • Ability and skill to work in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
  • Excellent communication skills.
