The Workflow Data & Insight Analyst will support and design UK Business Workflow across Credit & Collections. The analyst will be a business and technical expert in their field and will work closely with other teams within Workflow, Collections Strategy, Credit &Collections Operations and Continuous Improvement.
The accountabilities for the role are wide ranging and focus on areas of delivery in support and design with a highly competent analyst being expected to move between and undertake the various responsibilities as required by the team.
You will ensure that regular workflows are delivered to schedule and specification, mitigating the impact of potential issues such as system disruptions and the availability of personnel. You will do this by acting as the primary point of contact for your workflow customers in the business, dealing with workflow queries, day to day issues and routine requests in a way that drives high customer satisfaction and a service orientated environment. You will also liaise with your business stakeholders to gather, assess, confirm and document in detail the requirements for changes and projects to ensure they are effectively delivered by other members of the workflow team.
In addition to maintaining existing workflow systems, ensuring they continue to be fit for purpose you will develop well designed systems that generate and provide insight into and track collections workflow in all its various forms.
You will have a natural ability to think logically and approach problems in a constructive and methodical way and be resourceful in devising data driven solutions to challenging, complex or abstract problems.
You will be a great communicator, effective at discussing ideas and reaching agreement with a variety of people – analysts, collections agents, developers and leaders. You’ll be highly numerate – proficient in arithmetic, use of financial data and formulas to report information.
You will need to be technically competent in the following: SAS, SQL, SAP, Microsoft Office – proficient in Excel, Word, Access and Powerpoint. Some understanding of Linux or Unix would be beneficial.
