Are you a data lover who’s not afraid to challenge the norm? Fancy using your skills to help us keep our homes safe, smart, and future-ready? If you’re nodding, keep reading.
We’re on the lookout for a Senior Asset Intelligence Analyst - AKA someone who can turn messy data into meaningful insight. Someone who’s confident with a spreadsheet, curious about how things work, and passionate about making a difference. Sound like you?
In this role, you’ll be more than just a data analyst; you’ll be a key player in our Asset Intelligence team. You’ll help us interpret complex data sets, transforming them into actionable strategies that support our commitment to maintaining safe and efficient homes for our customers. Your contributions will directly impact our decision-making processes, ensuring that we not only meet but exceed compliance standards.
You’ll have the opportunity to collaborate with various teams across the organisation, gaining insights and sharing your expertise to drive continuous improvement. We value innovative thinkers who aren’t afraid to ask “why” and seek out better ways of doing things. If you’re driven by a sense of purpose and eager to be part of a team that truly makes a difference, we’d love to hear from you.
What’s the role about?
You’ll be part of our brilliant Asset Intelligence team, helping us stay on top of compliance and plan for the future. From gas and electric to fire safety and damp and mould, you’ll help us make sense of it all — and make sure we’re doing right by our customers.
You’ll be:
- Digging into data from all over the place and turning it into something useful
- Using your advanced Excel skills (formulas, lookups, Power Query) to build dashboards, spot trends, and tell the story behind the numbers. You’ll spot trends, risks and opportunities that help us plan ahead
- Building dashboards and reports that tell a story (not just a load of numbers)
- Presenting your findings in a way that everyone can understand—whether it’s a technical deep-dive or a quick summary for decision-makers.
- Challenge the status quo: ask “why,” push for better, and make sure we’re always improving
- Keeping our asset and compliance data accurate, up to date and easy to understand
- Working with teams across YH to make sure we’re all pulling in the same direction. You’ll be at the heart of our compliance mission, making sure our homes are safe, our data is rock-solid, and our teams have everything they need to succeed
- Championing our “customer-obsessed” culture, making life easier for colleagues to get things done and ultimately our customers.
What we’re looking for:
- Real-world experience wrangling large, messy data sets—cleansing, reconciling, and making sense of it all
- Advanced Excel skills (Power Query, formulas, lookups — the lot)
- A sharp eye for detail, a methodical approach, and the confidence to challenge and improve how things are done
- Confidence to challenge how things are done and suggest better ways
- A clear communicator who can explain the complex in a simple way
Power BI, GIS or housing experience? Great — but not essential. We care more about your mindset and passion for doing the right thing with the data we have. Check out the attached Role Profile for a detailed look at the role and requirements
