The Role:
Required for an initial 3 month project to define and model the relationship between UK inflation rates, retail savings rates, mortgage rates and Bank of England Base Rates using Moneyfacts exclusive historical data to provide a statistical framework for rate setters.
The ultimate purpose of the project is to update and formalise the Research Foundations current guides which can be seen on pages 20 to 22 in Moneyfacts INTEREST Journal:

About Us:
Moneyfacts Research Foundation’s Objects are:
To advance by all available means the education, research and understanding of economics and interest rates, their use and purpose and their economic, monetary and domestic objectives and consequences, and the study of the skills and expertise required in interest rate setting, data collection and analysis.
About You:
We are looking for an experienced Statistician who has the ability to communicate complex data to non-technical readers. The role would suit someone looking to develop and contribute to a reputable publication which has access to unrivalled data, and who has previous experience working in the Financial Services sector.
The ideal candidate will either be starting out in their career as a Statistician and looking to gain additional experience, or is late-stage career and is able to bring their wealth of industry knowledge and experience to the project.

- Location: Norwich. The role could be done remotely but visits to the Norwich offices would be required
