The ideal candidate will have a strong track record of research excellence and be able to lecture a range of courses in statistics at undergraduate and master's levels. They will have the ability, or potential, to secure research funding to support their research vision and build a network of collaborators. The post-holder will be part of the world-leading Statistical Laboratory with strong interdisciplinary connections within Cambridge, the UK, and internationally.

The Mathematics departments occupy a modern, purpose-built campus, also including the Isaac Newton Institute.
