AlphaPlus is seeking an enthusiastic individual with significant hands-on experience of data analysis to join us as a quantitative researcher supporting a range of research and evaluation projects as a member of the research team, which undertakes mixed methods research in UK and international education.
This role is suitable for holders of a first class or 2:1 honours degree with a significant component in statistics. A master’s degree in research methods or statistics would also be suitable. Candidates must also have strong GCSE and A Level results, including A Level Maths at grade A or B. Coding or syntax experience are essential, ideally but not necessarily in R. Further training and development will be provided. Professional experience as a statistician/quantitative researcher in the education sector is desirable but not essential.
The role is full-time, Monday to Friday, based in Castlefield, Manchester, and may occasionally require some national travel working in company and customer offices.
